BIOGRAPHY

Chandra Leigh’s entertainment career spans nearly twenty years as a SAG Film/TV Actress and Film/TV Producer.  Training commenced early on in Chandra’s life at many training mediums such as the James Best Film Acting Studio and KVG Studios, to name a few; while also training and working for two huge entertainment conglomerates - Walt Disney World and Universal Studios – for valuable “hands-on” entertainment industry experience.

After graduation from Rollins College with a BA in Performance Theatre Arts, she immediately landed a position with a film production/celebrity charity fundraising company, wearing a couple of hats---including that of associate producer. Through her networking associations, Chandra seized the opportunity to work as Oscar-winner Renee Zellweger’s ‘Stand-In/Double’ in the film Cold Mountain that took her on location to Romania for approximately four months. Not long after this project, she did double duty in Monster, cast in a supporting acting role alongside Charlize Theron as a ‘Cute Teenager Attendant’ while also serving as Christina Ricci’s ‘Stand-In/Double’ in the film.

In addition to pursuing her acting endeavors in film/TV, Chandra continues to work in film/TV producing capacities to hone her craft. Production credits include reality TV shows such as MTV’s Tiara Girls, VH1’s My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding and Hogan Knows Best, FOX’s American Idol, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, as well as many other films and TV shows.

Chandra’s acting credits include numerous films, commercials, industrials, TV shows, and theatre. Chandra has had the great opportunity thus far to work on film and TV projects associated with entertainment industry professionals such as Renee Zellweger, Charlize Theron, Jude Law, Christina Ricci, Anthony Minghella, Sydney Pollack, The Weinstein Brothers, Patty Jenkins, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Brendan Gleeson, Giovanni Ribisi, Natalie Portman, Donald Sutherland, Ray Winstone, Charlie Hunnam, Kathy Baker, and the list goes on…

Chandra’s entertainment aspirations center on her favorite quote for living:

“Be what you can be, not what you are.”
